Robot automation companies in the UK are taking the lead

Robot automation companies in the UK are helping manufacturers to keep on step ahead of their competitors.  Automotive industries are well known for implementing new technologies in their process, they are taking the lead in using robotic automation systems.

United Kingdom is ranking 22nd in robot density in the world average according to IFR International Federation of Robotics. Even though, the robot density is low, manufacturers are highly in need of investment to adapt robotic automation systems to improve their production.

Robotic Automation companies in the UK are aware of the low density in robotics if it is comparing with the Asia or others country in EU.  Despite the decision to leave the EU, there are currently many suggested investment plans for capacity expansion and modernization of foreign and local automotive companies. It is not evident though whether companies will hold back investments due to uncertainties concerning customs duties said the Federation.

Most common Manufacturing Applications

Industrial robots are being used to improve production line for many years, and they keep bringing productivity and efficiency to the Automotive industry as well as other industries, but the most common manufacturing applications include:
  • Assembly, painting
  • Welding, gluing and stamping
  • Moulding, Cutting, Milling
  • PLC Systems – Programmable logic controllers
  • ICS - Industrial Control Systems including multiple industrial control panels

Robotic Automation Systems new emerging technologies

In addition, there are some others emerging technologies that will help not only the automotive industry but all other industries as well.  Furthermore, robotic automation systems are integrated to these new trends.

Even though robotic Automation systems improve productivity, product quality and deliver projects on time and according to the budget, there are many other areas to consider for improvement such as Industrial robot safety, robot training, robot simulation, and smarter factory implementation.
